ORIGIN
Wuyi Mountain – located in Fujian Province, the four seasons are clearly located in the central subtropical, Wuyi Mountain four seasons, the temperature is more uniform, mild and humid, the average annual temperature of about 12 ℃ ~ 13 ℃, the average temperature of about 3 ℃ in January, the extreme minimum temperature can reach -15 ℃, the average temperature of 23 ℃ ~ 24 ℃ in July; annual precipitation of more than 2,000 millimetres, is the largest precipitation area in Fujian Province. The annual relative humidity is as high as 85 per cent, and there are more than 100 days of fog. It is very suitable for black tea cultivation.
BLACK TEA
Our black tea “Zhengshan Xiaojiao” is one of the most famous black teas in China, produced in Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province. Its appearance is fine and tightly knotted, with a sparse golden colour and a distinctive peachy red colour. The aroma of Zhengshan Xiao Seed is unique, combining a mild honey fragrance with a distinctive smoky aroma and a sweet aftertaste with a long aftertaste.
BREWING ADVICE
- Dry tea amount: generally a bubble is 5g of dry tea, the ratio of tea to water for daily drinking is almost 1:20~30.
Water temperature: The best quality black tea can be brewed with 100° boiling water, and the leaf bottom will slowly stretch after three or five bubbles, but most of the time, the water temperature of our daily drinking black tea is 90°~95°.
Brewing time: 30-60 seconds for the first brew, and 10 to 20 seconds for each subsequent brew.
Brewing times: good black tea is able to be in more than 8 bubbles, up to 15~25 bubbles.
The most avoided boring bubble, the bubble time is too long, the tea polyphenols in the tea leaves will be precipitated in large quantities, resulting in astringency of the tea soup4.
Clear Drinking Method and Blending Method: Clear Drinking Method means that the tea leaves are put into the pot and brewed directly. The blending method can be done by adding sugar, milk and other flavourings to the brewed tea soup.
